Henley Arts Trail
Evening of 1st May and across 2nd to 4th May

We love championing creativity in all its forms, whether that’s teaching new skills at Mix & Mingle, giving you a go on our potter’s wheels, or simply providing a space for the local community to get creative.

This year, we’re delighted to be a brand-new venue for the 20th anniversary of the Henley Arts Trail. Taking place over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend (2nd to 4th May), we are proud to be one of the 36 venues on the trail.

We’ll be hosting four artists and creatives whose mediums span contemporary painting, pottery and jewellery.

Nikki Louise
Nikki is a jeweller who creates handmade pieces designed to be as unique as the wearer. Working with recycled sterling silver and traditional hand tools, she brings both her own and her customers’ visions to life. Her work is inspired by nature, particularly plants and their life cycle, from seed through to flower, blending raw elegance with meaning and individuality. Her jewellery is also on sale throughout the year in our studio.

Sandy Walters
Sandy works with stoneware and porcelain, using glazes to enhance and communicate the texture and character of each piece. The process of opening the kiln remains a constant source of excitement, with each firing revealing something new. Her practice is rooted in mindfulness and connection with the clay, something which she hopes is reflected in her ceramics.

Melissa Jolly
Melissa creates modern rustic stoneware featuring intricate sgraffito carving and layered glazing. With a background in garden design, she draws inspiration from the outdoors to create unique pottery pieces. Her work combines wheel-thrown forms and hand-built elements, with nature-inspired geometric patterns that blend folk art tradition and contemporary design. She also runs workshops from her garden studio.

Sonia Scott Job
Sonia’s work captures fleeting moments in nature, often using charcoal or pastels. Through what she describes as ‘2-D sculpting’, she manipulates the medium to convey the energy and emotion of a moment. The sea is a particular focus of her work, with an emphasis on evoking its spirit and movement.

We'll be holding a private view on Friday 1st May 6-10pm before the trail opens, exclusively for our customers. It's a great opportunity to join us for drinks and pinchos as you enjoy a first look at the artwork and a chance to meet the artists. No RSVP or prior booking is required.

Over the bank holiday weekend, we will be open as part of the trail, with normal opening hours and Monday 10am–5pm. Throughout the weekend, we’ll be welcoming visitors and serving cream teas and refreshments to those exploring the trail.

The nearest parking is available at the pay and display car park on Polehampton Close or at the Waitrose car park (2-hour maximum stay).

Please note: From the evening of 1st May and across 2nd to 4th May, we’ll be open for the Henley Arts Trail, but not for pottery painting. Please do pop in, take a look and chat to our exhibiting artists.
